Research a question with parallel agents and an adversary; dated, sourced facts written to a file
description: "Research a question with parallel agents and an adversary; dated, sourced facts written to a file"
Research `$ARGUMENTS` and write what holds to `.claude/context/research-<YYYY-MM-DD>-<slug>.md`. Read only: change no code and install nothing.
1. **Start from what is settled.** Read the decisions in force (`bash .claude/bin/decisions.sh in-force`; if the helper is missing or fails, say so and use the decisions made in this conversation) and any `.claude/context/research-*.md` on the question whose re-verify-by dates have not passed. Research only what they leave open. 2. **Angles,** three to six, each answerable on its own: official current docs; the source at the version in use or deployed; releases, changelogs and issues; live state (chain, RPC, an API); prior art and alternatives; this repo. One researcher per angle: `solana-researcher` for the Solana ecosystem, `Explore` for this repo, general-purpose for the rest. Each researcher's prompt carries the question, its angle, the decisions in force and the evidence rules below. Each report fits on a screen: claims, each with its source, the date read, a version where one applies, and a confidence — High (authoritative sources agree), Medium (one authoritative source), Low (community only, or conflicting), Speculative — then **Verified** (command and result), **Decisions made**, **Decisions needed** (as briefs), **Assumptions** and **Next owner**. 3. **Triage, then the adversary.** Label the load-bearing claims with [/explore's triage](explore.md#triage); with `/adversarial` or `/adv` in front, all of them are adversarial. One more agent takes the claims labelled adversarial and tries to refute each from an independent source, reproducing what it can. Verdicts: PASS (holds, proven), REFUTED (with the counter-source), UNVERIFIED (nothing reachable settles it; never counted as refuted). A claim labelled parallel or serial stands on its researcher's source, and one labelled user is a decision the research surfaces. 4. **Fan out** as a dynamic workflow when the session can run one (load the `workflow-authoring` skill first) — researchers in parallel, then the triage, then the adversary — so the user can watch it in `/workflows`; else as background subagents launched in one message (`/tasks`), with the triage and then the adversary once they report. 5. **Write the file,** then reply with its path, the answer, and any decision it surfaces.
1. **Question**, and the **answer** in two or three sentences. 2. **Claims:** claim | source | read on | confidence | label | verdict (adversarial only) | re-verify by. 3. **Refuted**, each with its counter-source, kept so nobody re-asserts it. 4. **Unverified**, each with what would settle it. 5. **Decisions it surfaces**, as briefs ([format](decide.md#brief)) for `/decide`.
Claude Code, set up to ship on Solana. Not programs alone — the whole lifecycle: validating the idea, building the program and the app around it, shipping it, and the launch and growth work that follows.

Short for /adversarial: run every task through proposer and adversary pairs, no triage
Put a task's load-bearing claims and key decisions through a proposer and an adversary, with proof
Audit infra security: secrets, deps, CI/CD, webhooks, AI/skill files
Audit Solana program code for exploitable bugs and write a findings report
Compare per-instruction CU with the stored baseline to catch regressions
