Design Principles

RESTful Conventions

• Use nouns for resources: `/users`, `/orders`
• Use HTTP methods correctly: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE
• Use proper status codes: 200, 201, 400, 401, 403, 404, 500
• Version APIs: `/api/v1/...`

Naming Conventions

• kebab-case for URLs: `/user-profiles`
• camelCase for JSON fields: `firstName`, `createdAt`
• Plural nouns for collections: `/users`
• Singular for actions: `/auth/login`
